Our First Demo: These 5 songs recorded at Mimi's Lair...

A day that will live in infamy:

December 10th @ Checkpoint Charlie's, 7-9 pm

So we're playing our first gig, and we get swarmed by a mob of people with megaphones trying to protest the bar.  Apparently, they weren't too happy with the owner, but what could we do?  The show must go on!

Hey Hey

Little Rock (electric)

Do I Move You?

Right Girl, Wrong Time

Blind for Awhile

These five are new recordings, hot off the press in Little Rock, Arkansas.  I used a Tascam DP-01FX digital recorder with Marshall mics and a Crate amp for the Les Paul.  ("Do I Move You?" is a Nina Simone classic, "Some Devil" is a short version of a Dave Matthews song).

Do I Move You? (solo)

I Dreamed of This

Look Around

Some Things

Some Devil (sample)

Here's all the old stuff recorded in New Orleans...

I have been grooming these songs and others at a couple of local open mic venues: the Neutral Ground Coffeehouse on Daneel, Carrollton Station on Willow, and Marlene's on Tchoupitoulas.  Here is a list of some recent covers I've been playing in addition to my own stuff:

Allman Brothers - Melissa

Dave Matthews - Crash, Everyday, Dancing Nancies
Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus
Eric Clapton - Hey Hey, Nobody Knows You
Grateful Dead - Brokedown Palace,  Me & My Uncle
Jack Johnson - Flake, Fortunate Fool
Neil Young - Cinnamon Girl, Old Man
Paul Simon - Graceland
Phish - acoustic YEM, Waste

All songs recorded using:

Fostex MR-8 Multitrack Recorder
Larrivee Acoustic Guitar
Peavey PVM-90 microphone
